Welcome to Milton Abbas Parish Council's website.

Milton Abbas is a small village in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).  It is a lovely area for walking, with a Farm Shop, Public House and Post Office, and you can enjoy stunning views at any time of year.

Many will be familiar with iconic photos of picturesque thatched, cobb cottages and the biennial Milton Abbas Street Fair, but Milton Abbas offers a wealth of history within its Parish Boundary.

This website provides an insight into the Parish Council and its activities on behalf of the Parishioners.  More information on the vibrant activities of the community can be found through the links on our Community page.

The Parish Council meets on the second Wednesday of May, July, September, November, January and March. Parish Council meetings are open to everyone.  The agendas for Parish Council meetings are published approximately a week before the meeting and can be found on the Agendas page of our website.
