Cllr Mr Simon Martin

I moved to the village last year with my wife, Beverley. We have two sons, Ed and Ben who work and study away, but can often be seen visiting. We love living in the village and I am excited to have this opportunity to support the committed volunteers helping this vibrant community.

I moved to Dorset with work, and I am the Head of Global Manufacturing for Yunex Traffic, a company based in Poole. I hope that the skillset I’ve developed over my years in engineering and manufacturing will be of use as a member of the Parish Council.

Outside work we are enjoying exploring the local area with our dog Bertie, and as a lover of all things two-wheeled, I can often be seen cycling or motorcycling down the local lanes and trails.
